Mari Nobre is an Italian-American singer who can sing and speak in five languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French. A naturally talented vocalist who began her singing career in Europe as a child prodigy at the age of 14. Following her musical career she emigrated
first to New York and then to Los Angeles, where she performed and recorded with important artists.

She is currently the official singer of Joyas Prestadas (Borrowed Jewels), the original band of tribute of Mexican-American diva Jenni Rivera. The band has been performing since March 2021 and has sold out all tickets since then. The band caught the attention of television networks
such as ABC channel 7, Eyewitness News. Mari also appeared on the ABC and Hulu television special "On the Red Carpet-Remembering Jenni Rivera.

Mari has received a Gold Record, and participated as a vocalist on a Latin Grammy winning album “Los Animales” and another American Grammy-nominated album by iconic Brazilian singer Flora Purim. Mari also received an American Songwriter Award, two Jazz Educator Awards, a Dean Martin Award and many others.  In the United States, she is also known as an actress for her appearances in several seasons of the
popular Lifetime TV reality show Little Women LA. Mari was also the protagonist of the Italian reality show That 39;s My Country; for RAI International.

Mari is also an academic with a bachelors degree in ethnomusicology and jazz music from the Herb Alpert School of Music, a masters degree in African American studies (UCLA), and a doctorate in ethnomusicology that will be completed this year (UCR).

In 2024, Mari released her critically acclaimed album Sobran las Palabras, which includes duets with Ibrahim Ferrer Jr., a legacy of the famous Cuban band Buena Vista Social Club. The album received praise from the Mexican press such as El Sol de México, El Diario and many others.
